VASJ appreciates your investment in your child's education. The sacrifices you make now will manifest in far greater results and achievements in the future. A Catholic education in the family spirit of the Marianist Brothers and Ursuline Sisters proves invaluable for students, families and the entire greater Cleveland community.
With a few exceptions, students are not required to purchase books. Generally, tuition is set in the spring for the following school year. We make every effort to keep our tuition affordable for families.
If you are a current 8th-grade family or transfering to VASJ in the fall, click here to fill out the FACTS Financial Aid form AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Option 1: Payment in full by June 30 (5% discount off of net tuition due)
Option 2: Payment in two installments (half in June, half in January)
Option 3: 10 monthly payments, starting in August and ending in May.
To be considered for tuition assistance, families must submit a completed financial aid application to FACTS Financial Aid. The FACTS form is available by clicking this link. No paper copies are available, everything must be filled out electronically.
Scholarships are awarded each year to incoming freshmen based on the top scores from the VASJ Entrance Exams given in October and November. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $3,000 and are renewable as long as the student meets certain grade point, attendance and conduct criteria.
VASJ accepts qualified students enrolled in the CSTP or EdChoice Program.
Current VASJ students have the opportunity to be considered every year for scholarships awarded on Founders’ Day. To qualify for these scholarships, students are nominated by faculty. Founders’ Day scholarships are funded by private donors, friends and alumnae/alumni and vary in amount. Click here to learn more about applying for scholarships.
New and current students who are children or grandchildren of VA, SJ or VASJ graduates will receive a $500 annual discount on their VASJ tuition.
Families with more than one student at VASJ qualify for a $500 total tuition credit.
Students with a parent who works full-time in a Catholic educational institution (Catholic elementary school, high school or college) will be eligible for a $250 discount in tuition. Families must prove employment at the Catholic school, and the discount does not double if two parents work in Catholic schools.
