We've made it to 50 PLUS 1... Our reunion post-Covid-19, and yet still our 50th in our hearts and spirit. Let's all take a moment and remember all of our classmates who have gone home to the Lord, especially Tom Bodle (March 2021) our reunion committee chair for Reunion 2021 and most importantly the author and editor of our beloved Chronicles. Here's a link to the SJHS Class of 1970 "virtual cemetery" https://www.findagrave.com/virtual-cemetery/588458.
Now on to 50 PLUS 1 details:
Goals: Remember that since the beginning of this journey beginning in August 2019, the Class of '70 Reunion Committee has had two goals: First, to have at least 200 classmates attend ONE or more reunion events, and second, to raise a class gift of $250,000. Well, we still need to work on goal #1, and we're still going to do everything to achieve 200 plus guys returning for 50 Plus 1. As for goal #2, the Class of '70 not only reached our goal of $250,000, but surpassed it to over $270,897 — the largest class gift ever in the history of the school.
Dates: Thursday, September 23 through Sunday, September 26
