About 90 kindergarten to second grade students from O.H. Perry and Lakeshore Intergenerational School visited VASJ on Halloween morning for the school’s annual Halloween on Campus event.
The elementary school students were paired with VASJ seniors and participated in various activities throughout the school, including trick-or-treating in the offices and classrooms, playing Halloween bingo, decorating cookies, dancing and making slime.
“Halloween on Campus is a long-standing tradition here at VASJ,” said Brianna Wilson, director of campus ministry and an English teacher. “It’s a beautiful opportunity for us to get involved with the greater community. Students give their time and energy to make a child’s day.”
This is the 28th year Halloween on Campus has been held at VASJ.
A big thank you to our Campus Ministry team for coordinating the activities and to all the faculty and staff who participated and made it a spooktacular day for the students!
