Yesterday the VASJ Counseling Department organized Positivity Wednesday! During their lunch periods, students wrote positive messages on pieces of paper, took fun photos, and listened to music. The positive messages are being turned into a kindness chain that will be hung in the school for all to see.
The event was part of the Sandy Hook Promise Start With Hello campaign, which teaches students to be more socially inclusive and connected to each other. Faculty and staff were encouraged to wear green yesterday, which is the Sandy Hook Promise symbol for unity and solidarity.
Thank you to our counselors for hosting this meaningful event!
