VASJ’s robotics team will be competing for the third consecutive year in the 2016 AWT Northeast Ohio Regional RoboBots Competition.
The competition will be held at Lakeland Community College on Saturday, April 30, at 9 a.m.
There
They were proud of last year’s efforts but have even higher expectations for Saturday’s event.
“We return for the third year with our past mechanical issues solved and holding high expectations of winning this one,” says VASJ Engineering teacher Mr. Gary Minadeo ’74.

“They know the vulnerabilities of our opponents very well,” says Minadeo.
This year’s VASJ robotics team is sponsored by Tim ’68 and Jason McCord of Heisler Machining. The previous two years VASJ’s team was sponsored by Lincoln Electric.
