Thanks to our amazing supporters, Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School raised more than $30,000 for #weGiveCatholic on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
A total of 179 donors supported
VASJ’s campaign, bringing our fundraising total to $30,964. The money will go toward a number of school improvement projects and student programs, including the girls’ locker room renovation, a yearbook fund for seniors, Kairos program support, the revitalization of the Villa Angela Academy Heritage Center, a new school phone system, a utility vehicle for our Maintenance Department, and The Fund for VASJ.
VASJ ranked 18th on the leaderboard out of a total of 208 participating organizations.
#weGiveCatholic is Northeast Ohio’s online day of Catholic giving, supporting Catholic schools, parishes, ministries and nonprofits throughout the region.
A special thank you to our donors who stepped up to be matching gift sponsors throughout the day, including the Oarsmen Club, Kevin Flynt ’70, Ladies Night Out and alumnae from the VA Class of ’68, VASJ Faculty and Staff, and Nick and Diana (Hidalgo) Fishman ’08.
Thank you to everyone who supported our campaign in some way! We are truly humbled by the outpouring of support.
