VASJ junior Jacob Ericksen places first at Cardinal Cross Country Invitational

Congratulations are in order for VASJ junior Jacob Ericksen, who placed first out of 50 finishers at the Cardinal Cross Country Invitational in Middlefield, Ohio, on Sept. 21. Jake finished in 18:39.8, a personal record by 63 seconds.

VASJ sophomore Caden Zeigler placed 30th in 23:02.3, while VASJ freshman Joshua Clarke came in 49th with a time of 31:05.4, a personal record by over two minutes. 

Jake also came in 4th place at the 66th annual McDonough Invitational on Sept. 14 at Forest Hills Park in Cleveland Heights. He clocked in with a time of 19:44.38 out of 132 finishers.
