Each year the Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School community comes together to celebrate the school's founders: St. Angela Merici (founder of the Ursuline Sisters) and Blessed William Joseph Chaminade (founder of the Society of Mary Marianists).
The school was fortunate to have Our Lady of Lake's Fr. Joe Fortuna there to celebrate Mass.
Making the occasion even more special was the anointment of senior Amber Miller who will be baptized at Our Lady of Lake in March.
At the end of Mass, four VASJ students who were the recipients of the Faces of our Founders award spoke about being a VASJ student means to them.
Their words were inspiring and wonderful evidence of the important work being done at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School.
