October 17, 2017VASJ is on the move once again!
Over the past two years the Viking student men's, women's and mixed choirs offer praise, celebration, enthusiasm, and most definitely SPIRIT! And what's next?Announcing VASJ Music Matters: a committee of alums and parents, with the support of VASJ faculty and administration, developed a plan to grow the instrumental music program and support vocal music.
VASJ Music Matters is off to a great start.
Some highlights:-
Survey of the entire student body to access the level of interest in music (instrumental & vocal) is completed and compiled. Over 50% of our students have an interest in music!

Men's & Women's choirs are already rocking

Pep Band being formed now to support Viking sports & events
- Band room freshen-up being planned
-
Archiving of VA, SJ, and VASJ band/glee club news articles, films, and other items already underway
- Alumni Band & Chorale coming soon.... join in the fun!
- SJ Class of 1967 & SJ Class of 1970 Bocce Gang has made donations to date!
