The VASJ track team will once again be competing in the state tournament in Columbus.
Congratulations to the Viking boys and girls 4x100 relay teams, both of which placed third at the regional tournament and will move on to compete at state.
The girls 4x100 relay is comprised of Aziza Cranfield, Alison Sukys, Jermanie Brown & Deja Bruce.
The boys 4x100 relay team consists of Alfred Whitsett, Tyler Cruickshank, Aaron Roquemore & Marvelle Ross.
Both teams will compete in the semi-finals on the morning of Friday, June 7, with a chance to be among the top nine teams advancing to Saturday’s finals. The girls will enter the competition with the 5th fastest time and the boys with the 9th fastest time among this year’s competitors.
