Students visit Rock Hall for field trip

Dr. Khoury took a group of students to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last week! Our students had the opportunity to explore hands-on activities located throughout the museum as well as meet with the educational team to learn about the history of hip hop. 

Students in Dr. Khoury's Music and Performing Arts classes have been studying the history of American popular music as well as the history of punk, New Wave, rap, and the many genres of hip hop. They're currently developing their own beats using BandLab and writing their own raps, which the students will copyright and publish by the end of the quarter.
