Record crowd at sixth annual Escape on the Lake 5K

There were 270 runners and walkers (as well as kids in strollers and even some dogs) who participated in VASJ's sixth annual Escape on the Lake 5K! That is more than DOUBLE the amount of people who participated last year! 

It was perfect weather for a beautiful run along Lake Erie and through Villa Angela park. Many new participants commented on what a beautiful course it is. We expect the race to be even bigger next year. The tie-dyed shirts made by VASJ students were a hit! We are grateful for all the support of our school, especially from our sponsors: Hospice of the Western Reserve and Euclid Hospital.
