How I live out the Marianist and Ursuline traditions by David Paus '17

Living out the Marianist and Ursuline traditions is very important to me. These values involve using the gifts that God has given us to excel in our academics, athletics, or in other areas.

Every day I do the best that I can in my academics. I also try my best to be respectful and kind to others. It’s always important to respect your fellow classmates and your teachers.

One thing that I do every day is try to live my life like Jesus did. I try to lead others by example, whether it's being respectful to one another or by making good choices. I also have great pride in my school even though I may not show it around others. I truly believe that this school has made me a better person.

One important thing that I think makes me who I am is service. I love going to service projects and helping others who are in need. To be able to put a smile on someone else’s face, knowing that I have made a difference in their lives means a lot to me. By serving others, we are continuing Jesus’ work. I think that we all can live out the Marianist and Ursuline traditions. If we all do this, then we are all living our life like Jesus Christ did.
