The boys track team was just one point shy of winning the division III regional track meet on Friday, May 25. But second place is nothing to be disappointed about, especially when VASJ only had four boys competing in the meet and all four will be advancing to the state meet next week.
VASJ's 4x100 and 4x200 meter relay teams will both be advancing to state as well as junior Devon Bolden and senior Rodney Burse in the 100 meter dash and senior Marcellus Embry and CJ Germany in the 200 meter dash.
