Be an Angel for VASJ students!

Through the Angel Scholarship Fund, you can contribute funds that will be used to provide tuition assistance for VASJ students. Turn your taxes into tuition!

Individuals may receive a 100% Ohio income tax credit of up to $750 ($1,500 for married couples filing jointly) against their state tax liability. 

Students from VASJ will be eligible to receive scholarships from the Angel Scholarship Fund, which is being managed locally by the Catholic Community Foundation. This is a wonderful way for you to "spend" some of the state income taxes you must pay anyway and provide tuition assistance for students seeking a Catholic education at VASJ.

As we approach the end of the 2023 calendar year, our hope and prayer is for the number of Angel Scholarship Fund supporters to grow so that we may achieve even greater success. We encourage all Ohio taxpayers to consider making an Angel Scholarship Fund donation by December 31, 2023* for the donation to be available for a 2024 Angel Scholarship.

*If you are planning to claim the tax credit on your 2023 tax return, you will receive an acknowledgement/thank you letter and a tax receipt. Use this receipt to claim your tax credit when you file your State of Ohio income tax return.
