An update regarding Governor DeWine's distance learning extension

Dear Viking families,

As you may have heard, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has extended school closures until Friday, May 1, 2020. That means that the earliest the students will be back at VASJ will be Monday, May 4, 2020. Governor DeWine added that he will reevaluate whether to reopen schools on May 1, 2020. 

Distance learning will start up again on Monday, April 20, 2020, and continue until we are back in the building. For seniors, Governor DeWine’s announcement today means that prom is officially postponed since it was scheduled to be held on May 1, 2020. We will send out the new date for prom once it is confirmed with LaVera Party Center.
