An update on senior prom

Dear seniors and senior parents,

After analyzing and discussing the results from the prom survey sent earlier this week, we have made the difficult and disappointing decision to cancel prom.
 
Almost 70% of respondents said they did not plan on attending if music and dancing were not allowed. Although the ban on all dancing was recently lifted, it is with the stipulation that all dancers practice social distancing guidelines of staying 6 feet apart. We felt that was all but impossible to accomplish and enforce.

Also, the Baccalaureate Mass scheduled for July 22 has been canceled. We have not made any decision about graduation at this time.
