The Viking Village was bustling as nearly 50 alums, community members and friends gathered in the gym for VASJ’s Career Day.
Among the alums in attendance was Euclid Fire Department Platoon Chief Jim DallaRiva '76 who served as the guest speaker.
“We are extremely grateful that these men and women gave of their time so freely,” says VASJ Principal David Csank. “The career day is such a wonderful opportunity for our students, and our guidance department, as always, did a fantastic job organizing and running the event."
The event, held every other year, is popular among both students and attendees. The feedback is always positive and this year was no exception.
To make the event even more beneficial to the students, the guidance department surveyed the students about their top career choices in order to get representatives from each of the most popular fields.
They say it takes a village and the Viking Village came together to share their professional experiences with VASJ’s students.
Thank you to all who attended this great event (complete list of attendees can be found below).
