Dear Friends:
For our silver anniversary, we asked some of our students to brainstorm ideas for a tagline that would capture the spirit of VASJ. They responded with enthusiasm and imagination, shouting their ideas so quickly that we could barely keep up.
In the end, we chose this one suggested by sophomore Christopher Boykin:
VASJ: Where Friends Become Family
That truly is the story of our school. From alums to parents to the students of today, the Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School community is made up of people who share an unbreakable bond that goes beyond friendship. Rooted in the Ursuline and Marianist traditions of faith, leadership and service, VASJ is focused on preparing young people to spread the Good News to their brothers and sisters throughout the world.
Our students understand that none of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors. In their everyday actions and their aspirations for the future, they show their heartfelt appreciation for the sacrifices made on their behalf.
The success of the past few years stands as testimony to the resilience of our school. We have grown our endowment, our annual fund and our enrollment to levels exceeding even the most optimistic expectations. But in order for us to maintain and accelerate this progress, we need your support.
On behalf of our students – and from one family member to another – thank you and God bless you.
