Senior Prom

Senior Prom will be this Friday, May 13, at LaVera Party Center, 32200 Chardon Road in Willoughby Hills.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and all students are expected to be there by 7 p.m. Students are to check in at the front door of LaVera.

Students may leave at 10:30 p.m. and are expected to be off the premises by 11 p.m. Ticket sales have ended. Remember that everyone signed a contract that dictates the code of conduct for the event. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Bewley at mbewley@vasj.com. 


PROM DRESS CODE
This is a formal dance and formal attire is required. All students are expected to dress in good taste with Christian modesty and adhere to school policy as outlined in the student handbook. The dress code does not change for prom.

Gentlemen are not obligated to wear a tuxedo to prom. However, all male attendees are expected to wear a suit with a jacket, tie, and dress shoes. 

Ladies are expected to wear gowns that are either floor length or no higher than three inches above the knees. Dress backs may be open to the natural waist. The dress MUST fully cover a lady’s sides and MUST have a modest neckline. Dresses MAY NOT have open sides, low-cut necklines/cleavage, cut-outs, two-pieces, or transparent areas from fingertips to neckline. Front bodice, stomach, and waist must be covered with nontransparent material — mesh that is see-through is not appropriate.

Students who violate any part of this policy will be asked to leave the dance and may also receive other disciplinary consequences. Administration retains the right to deny admittance to the dance for inappropriate dress or expel any participant from the dance for inappropriate behavior and no refund will be forthcoming.
