VASJ to offer High School Placement Test Preparatory Class for eighth grade students

VASJ is partnering with Test Preparation and Tutoring Services to offer a course that will help students prepare and overcome test anxiety for the High School Placement Test (HSPT), as well as learn valuable skills that can be applied to any standardized test. The HSPT Test Preparation Course will cover test-taking strategies and techniques as well as time-management skills. Content skills necessary for the HSPT will also be covered.

Who: 8th Grade Students
What: Full-day High School Placement Preparatory Class
When: Saturday, September 24, 2016, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School

Each student in the course will take an actual HSPT practice test before the day is over. Results of the test, including a full score report, will be emailed to
parents. The course will include an HSPT manual, "Master the Catholic High School Entrance Exams" by Peterson's, supplementary study materials, folder, pencil, score sheet and lunch.

Cost: $149 per student
