VASJ mourns the loss of Misrach Ewunetie ’20

The Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School community is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of alumna Misrach Ewunetie ’20. 

Misrach was a bright and engaging young woman who was well-respected by her teachers and fellow students. She was quiet and humble, yet confident. A key player in our girls soccer program, Misrach also graduated with honors and was named valedictorian of her class. She was proud to receive a full four-year scholarship to Princeton University, where she hoped to major in a science. 

Her loss is felt by all those who were blessed to know her, including current students, alumni, faculty and staff, friends and family, and the Class of 2020.
