November 9, 2021Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School is excited to once again be participating in #weGiveCatholic on Tuesday, Nov. 30!
This year our donors will have the chance to support a variety of school improvement projects and student programs.
12 a.m.-7 p.m.: Money shouldn’t be an obstacle for students to receive a quality, Catholic education at VASJ. Your gift to The Fund for VASJ helps support tuition assistance for families in need, enhancements to academic curriculum, maintenance and improvements of our facilities and grounds, and more.
7 a.m.-9 a.m.: Help the VASJ Maintenance Department secure a new utility vehicle to assist with snow removal during the winter months.
9 a.m.-10 a.m.: A $40,000 matching gift from the Diocesan Tuition Assistance will directly benefit students attending VASJ. Your gift of $100 will be doubled during this hour!
10 a.m.-noon: Help us finish the renovation of the girls’ locker room! Your support will go toward brand-new lockers, new paint, new windows and updated flooring.
Noon-2 p.m.: Your gift will go toward purchasing a new school-wide phone system for faculty and staff.
2 p.m.-4 p.m.: Help us finish the renovation of the Villa Angela Academy Heritage Center! Your support will help purchase display cases and shelving to showcase memorabilia, create signage in the room, and update a small kitchenette area with new counters, new flooring and a full-size refrigerator.
4 p.m.-5 p.m.: A $40,000 matching gift from the Diocesan Tuition Assistance will directly benefit students attending VASJ. Your gift of $100 will be doubled during this hour!
5 p.m.-7 p.m.: Help ensure all seniors from the Class of 2022 get a yearbook! Your gift of $75 will “buy a yearbook” for a member of the VASJ senior class.
7 p.m.-9 p.m.: Kairos is a transformative experience for VASJ students that allows them to connect with each other on a powerfully deep level and explore their relationship to one another and to God. Help lower the overall cost for students attending Kairos and assist Campus Ministry with paying for resources by making a gift during these hours.
9 p.m.-11:59 p.m.: Finish off this day of giving by playing a critical role in building future Vikings with a gift to The Fund for VASJ.
