Be part of the movement that kicks off the giving season by supporting the courtyard improvement project at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School during #WeGiveCatholic on Dec. 1.
#WeGiveCatholic is a one-day giving event that provides Catholic schools, parishes, charities, special ministries and nonprofits affiliated with the Diocese of Cleveland the opportunity to connect with current donors and establish relationships with new ones.
VASJ is raising funds to renovate its courtyard. Donor support will help to turn the courtyard into a quiet, reflective prayer space for students, faculty and staff. The plans include updating landscaping, adding outdoor seating, developing an outdoor learning environment for students, building a grotto for Mother Mary and even planning a small garden for community outreach.
“VASJ is dedicated to supporting students' spiritual, academic and personal growth,” said Brianna Wilson, director of Campus Ministry at VASJ. “Improving our courtyard is one more way that we are affirming this to be true. This will be a space for our students to pray, learn and build community together. Students will be able to use this space for their classes, faith club gatherings, retreats and their own personal reflection time. We hope to create a space for students to enjoy as they deepen their relationship with God.”
