Frank Berkopec '58 participates as a volunteer responder in mock disaster drill

On Saturday, August 20, 2011, Frank Berkopec SJ '58 participated as a volunteer responder in a mock disaster drill at the Regal Cinemas at Crocker Park in Westlake. Frank is an active member of Fairview Parksection of Westshore Regional Community Emergency Response Team. It is an organization under the Department of Homeland Security through which volunteers are trained extensively in disaster preparedness and response to support police and fire in their communities in the event of an emergency or disaster. Westshore CERT includes volunteer teams from Westlake, Fairview Park, Rocky River, Bay Village, North Olmsted and Lakewood.
