It was a full house at Ss. Robert and William Parish on Monday, May 22 as family, friends, and faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the VASJ Class of 2023.
Eighty-three students were part of this year's graduating class. Sixty-two percent of the class reported receiving merit-based college scholarships and grants, totaling $5.9 million. Several students are also choosing to serve in the military or enter the workforce.
William Raddell ’68 delivered an invocation before introducing this year's senior speakers: Colin Hatcher, Roland Ivy Jr., Maria Karboski and Johnathan Pitts. Students in the senior class were presented with a variety of commencement awards during the ceremony.
After receiving their high school diplomas, Campus Minister Brianna Mejak blessed the class, and the students then proudly sang VASJ’s alma mater as they were welcomed into the Viking alumni family.
Congratulations to the VASJ Class of 2023, and best of luck in your future endeavors!
