VASJ's annual Continue the Dream gala, held on Saturday, February 23, was a huge success. Nearly 250 people attended the event, which was held at the historic and newly renovated LaSalle Theatre, which proved to be the perfect location for the red carpet theme.
"It was great to support a new neighborhood venue and it made for an exciting atmosphere for all who came," says VASJ President Bill Cervenik '72. "We pride ourselves in being a part of this neighborhood."
The event was a wonderful celebration of VASJ’s past, present, and future. From the student emcees, Anika Duhigg '21 and Desi Dilliard '21, the three featured speakers, Anna Radachy '19, Khalil Mitcham '19, and A'Diva Warren '19, to the students who served as greeters, red carpet paparazzi, and ticket sellers, the VASJ students truly stole the show. They were a great representation of the students we serve and why the support of our school is so important.
"The tremendous testimonies given by our students really made the event special," says Cervenik.
