Clarke Moore ’21 featured on WKYC

VASJ senior Clarke Moore was featured on WKYC Channel 3 April 6 to speak about her experience as an intern with Be The Change Venture, a nonprofit that educates and prepares high school students for the professional workforce. 

After researching the nonprofit’s mission, Clarke decided she wanted to intern and contribute to their cause. As a virtual intern last summer, Clarke had a range of responsibilities, including hosting Instagram Live videos on topics like time management and leadership, helping build digital platforms and developing new marketing techniques. 

“Be The Change Venture gave me the opportunity to develop my skills with great mentorship that was not overbearing,” she said. “They provided me with resources to make a difference in other people’s lives and mine as well. I realized that I can make a difference outside of the VASJ community.”
