Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School is excited to announce Barb DiTurno ’82 has joined the school as Director of Admissions, effective July 1.
"I had always hoped I would have the opportunity to be a part of my alma mater's history," DiTurno said. "Villa Angela gave me the confidence and leadership skills to mold me into the woman I am today, and following St. Angela Merici's guidance, ‘I will strive to be faithful to that which God has called me to do,’ I am a proud alumna from the VA Class of '82 and met my husband, Vince '83, on the St. Joe's stage during the musical ‘Anything Goes.’”
DiTurno has more than 30 years of experience in development and admissions. She previously served as director of advancement at Lake Catholic High School and Saint Paschal Baylon Parish and School. She also worked as director of development at Beaumont School and Euclid Hospital.
“I look forward to working with the wonderful, faculty, staff, administration, parents and students to make a quality, Catholic education at VASJ a reality for those who desire it,” she said.
DiTurno replaces Kellie Watrobski ’03, who will be stepping down after serving as admissions director at VASJ for the last seven years.
“While it’s bittersweet for me to leave VASJ, I’m confident that the admissions department will continue to grow and flourish under Barb’s expert leadership,” Watrobski said.
DiTurno and her husband, Vince, live in Euclid. The couple has a daughter, Maria.
