August 19, 2022We are here! The start of the school year is upon us, and we can’t wait to see your students on our campus on Monday. I have three points to cover:
ATTENDANCE
Be here! We want your students here on time so that we kick off the year on the right foot. Be mindful of road construction on East 185th Street. Construction will cause delays, and if you don't prepare to arrive early, your student will be late. We will be tracking attendance this year and hold families accountable for the betterment of your students' academics.
DRESS CODE
Our uniform matters! You send your students to VASJ for a different high school experience. Uniform is a part of that difference. Please make sure your student has the necessary items to complete their dress code. If there are any questions please contact me at [email protected] or 216-481-8414 ext. 190.
CELL PHONES
We have a strict policy on cell phone usage during instructional time. The expectation is that the cell phone is turned in at the beginning of the class period.
If a student is caught using a cell phone during instructional time, it will be
confiscated for the remainder of the day. The second offense will result in an out-of-school suspension.
