Applications for the 2018-19 school year will be available on January 3, 2018.
If you are an 8th-grade student at Catholic Grade School:
All 8th-grade students are required to take the VASJ entrance exam in the fall.
In early January, students will receive the Diocese of Cleveland Application packet for the Catholic High Schools. Families will be instructed by their Catholic grade schools about completing the packet and deadlines.
Once a student has completed the application packet and records are received by VASJ from the student’s grade school, they will be reviewed in conjunction with their entrance exam results. Please note that the committee bases its decision on the information that is available to them. An incomplete file can result in denial of admission to VASJ.
Letters notifying students of admissions decisions will be mailed on February 14.
Admitted students will register in March.
If you are a student at a school affiliated with the Marianist Urban Student Program (MUSP), St. Agatha-Aloysius, St. Francis, St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Jerome, click here.

We can not request these documents, the parent or guardian must obtain them from the elementary school. The school should email these documents to admissions@vasj.com.
During the months of January and February, complete the application packet according to the instructions. Please read the instructions carefully.
Once all required information is returned to the Admissions Office, the Admissions Review Committee will evaluate your file and notify you of its decision. Letters notifying students of admissions decisions will be mailed after the admissions procedure is complete and the admissions committee has made its decision.
Admitted students will register in March or April. Admission and registration are handled on a rolling basis for students applying after February.

If your student is an incoming 9th-grade student or transfer student and has a current Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Service Plan (SP) or holds the Autism Scholarship (AS):
All students who have IEPs, SPs or hold the AS and seek admission to VASJ are required to submit their most current IEP or SP and Evaluation Team Report (ETR) to VASJ prior to submitting an application.
VASJ will review all documents prior to accepting a student’s application to ensure that we provide services needed by the student.
