Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School is a Catholic community building 21st century leaders in the Ursuline and Marianist traditions. 

For 20 years, Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School, located in the heart of a thriving Cleveland-Euclid neighborhood, has provided a superior education to young adults from all sections of Northeast Ohio.

VASJ was founded pursuant to the merger of two Cleveland Catholic pillars of educational excellence - Villa Angela Academy and St. Joseph High School. It is the only school in the world to combine the Ursuline and Marianist traditions and values that emphasize academic excellence, service and inclusiveness in preparing students for the challenges of  21st Century adulthood.

Our continuing presence in the neighborhood where our founding schools began has molded our identity and strengthened our mission. Students from varied cultural, ethnic, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds are the components of a student body that mirrors our world and the Church today. For decades, VASJ has educated motivated students from inner city and suburban schools - Catholic and private - who want to grow spiritually, excel academically and be challenged athletically, and are who are open to interacting and building friendships with students different from themselves. The way our students and faculty come together in a family spirit are central to the Villa Angel-St. Joseph experience.
