The VASJ faculty and staff are a group of individuals who are committed to the ministry of providing a quality, faith-filled, well-rounded, rich education to all students of the school. These accomplished lay and religious men and women are gifted in their academic knowledge, ways of inspiration, undying support of the Marianist and Ursuline traditions, drive to give personal attention to each student and nurturing the talents and strengths of all Vikings.
Among the faculty and staff of VASJ, there are 36 certified professional staff members. Fifty-six percent of these individuals hold a masters degree and beyond (many more are currently working towards advanced degrees). There are 27 teachers, 4 administrators, 3 counselors and 1 of each: a librarian, director of campus ministry, director of the Marianist Urban Student Program, director of service learning and school psychologist. There are also many other degreed professionals on staff in the areas of development, alumni relations, marketing and public relations, admissions, athletics, maintenance, tutoring, technology, nursing, etc.
